Fostering Students’ Grammatical Competence Through Flipped Classroom

ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify whether Flipped Classroom strategy can enhance students’ grammatical competence. EFL students still found difficulties in understanding and mastering grammar despite its central role learning a new language. As we are living the digital era, optimize tools teaching assist teachers. Furthermore, nowadays tech-savvy, so it would not be very difficult integrate technology into classroom. The participants of this research were tenth grade at SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan. Action Research (CAR) was implemented as design with two cycles which comprised three meetings each cycle. cycle consisted planning, acting, observing, reflecting. instruments used test, questionnaire, observation, researcher’s field note. results showed that 77.14% passed minimum criterion score; further, among pre-test, post-test 1, 2 significantly increased. These findings indicate have potential improve ABSTRAKStudi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi gramatikal siswa melalui strategi dan mengetahui bagaimana tersebut siswa. Siswa yang menggunakan bahasa Inggris sebagai asing (EFL) masih mengalami kesulitan memahami menguasai tata meskipun peran sentralnya dalam belajar bahasa. Karena kita hidup di era digital, dapat mengoptimalkan alat proses belajar-mengajar membantu guru. Selain itu, saat sudah paham teknologi sehingga tidak terlalu sulit mengintegrasikan ke kelas. Melihat fenomena ini, oleh sebab penelitian telah dilaksanakan. Subjek adalah kelas X Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan desain dengan dua siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Instrumen digunakan tes, angket, observasi, catatan lapangan peneliti. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 77,14% dinyatakan lulus kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). meningkat secara signifikan
